PLAYING FOR MURRAY
Murray Youth Baseball is a non-profit organization which provides opportunities for children between the ages of 5-18 to play recreational baseball.
Murray Liberty League offers 3 divisions for children ages 5-12 in the Cal Ripken Youth Baseball Association. Rec league includes machine pitch and kid pitch programs.
Murray Babe Ruth League offers 2 division for youth ages 13-18. Ages 13-15 will play in league together and 16-18 will have separate division.
Vision Statement: Our goal is to provide an organized baseball league for the youth of Murray that achieves excellence in competitive youth baseball, enhances baseball skills and knowledge, develops and strengthens mental and physical skills of our youth, increases a sense of community and grows family values.
DIVISIONS
Rookies
Ages 6 - 7 (5 year old's with permission)
Machine pitch (with kid pitch development)
Players focus on improving their skills in a fun and competitive environment. Rookies makes use of a pitching machine to allow for more hittable balls at the plate and more action in the field until players have gained confidence with their skills.
MINORS
Ages 8 - 10 (7 year old's with permission)
Kid pitch
Pitching Distance: 46 ft
Bases Distance: 60 ft
Players build and refine their fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy and teamwork.
MAJORS
Ages 11 - 12 (10 year old's with permission)
Kid pitch
Pitching Distance: 50 ft
Bases Distance: 70 ft
Competitive play that focuses on improving skills and teamwork.
13-15 Babe Ruth
Ages 13-15
Pitching Distance: 60'6"
Bases Distance: 90 ft
Competitive play that focuses on improving skills and teamwork.
Cost: $180/player
16-18 Babe Ruth
Ages 16-18

Dates to Remember
Dates for the State Tournament (All Stars) are June 20th - 28th
- If you have interest in your child trying out for an All Star team this year please plan vacations accordingly. We would love to send a team for every age division. This would include a 7U machine pitch team.
